Event Bar Training
The Auld Shebeen presents Event Bar Training in association with ECS Safety & Training. Dan Curtis has over 30 years experience as a publican and organising festivals of up to 15,000 people. This course will equip you with the essential skills and knowladge needed to excel in your role within an event bar. This course is designed to enhance your understanding of event bar operations, improve your customer services skills, and ensure you can contribute effectively to the sucess of any event.
Door and Event Security Course | QQI Level 4 Certification
This programme is vocational in nature, with knowledge and skills outcomes focusing on preparing people for entry to the workplace in the specific fields of Door and Event security. Emphasis is placed on knowledge of the industry and the law followed by an understanding of best practice procedures and thereafter the application of skills relevant to the practical day to day tasks, including emergency responses.
Static and Retail Security Course | QQI Level 4 Certification
This programme is vocational in nature, with knowladge and skills outcomes focusing on preparing people for entry to the workplace in a specific fields of static and retail security. Emphasis is placed on knowladge of the industry and the law followed by an understanding of best practice proceedures and thereafter the application of skills relevant to the practical day to day tasks, including emergency responses.
Safe Pass
SOLAS APPROVED ORGANISATION FOR:
The aim of our Safe Pass Training Course is to ensure that all workers within the construction industry have the basic knowladge of health and safety, construction regulations, and are able to work on-site without been a risk to themselves or others where they might be affected by there acts or omissions.(HSA 2021). Minium 8 people required and a maximum of 20 to run this course.
Our location is ECS Safety & Training, Brownsbarn, Co. Dublin and is excessable by car only.
Manual Handling Practical
Our Manual Handling Training course is taken once you have passed your theory course with ECS Safety & Training online. We will run through a series of different practicals which you will use in your workplace. All you have to do is enroll on your free practical assessment choosing your required date and time.
Once this is completed you will be sent your Zoom login link via email with all details relating to your practical assesment online during office hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm excluding bank holidays.
Interpreter Services
In Ireland, CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and Safe Pass are programs designed to ensure workers on construction sites have the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely. These programs are widely used in the construction industry, but in some cases, interpreters may be needed for non-English speakers or workers who prefer to receive the training in a different language.
ECS Safety & Training as per SOLAS Guidlines use the Irish Translators and Interpreter's Association.
New Entrant – 360 Operator
The aim of this 3 day programme is to raise the standard of health and safety awareness by giving our ourse participants the knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them to operate the machine safely. This course will also help participants to comply with statutory requirements as outlined by SOLAS. on the machine – on completion of this training, the candidate will be issued with a provisional CSCS Card.
CSCS Site Dumper Experienced Operator (Saturday)

The aim of our CSCS Site Dumper Training Course is to raise the standard of health and safety awareness by giving our ourse participants the knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them to operate the machine safely. This course will also help participants to comply with statutory requirements as outlined by SOLAS.
CSCS 360 ° Excavator Experienced Operator (Saturday)

The aim of our CSCS 360 ° Excavator Training Course is to raise the standard of health and safety awareness by giving our course participants the knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them to operate the machine safely. This course will also help participants to comply with statutory requirements as outlined by SOLAS.

Construction Package
Working at Heights, Abrasive Wheels & Manual Handling: These three courses have been combined to save participants time and money.
All three courses can be completed in one day. The Working at Heights course is held in the morning along with the Abrasive and the Manual Handling is in the afternoon. These courses can also be attended separately as per our website.
CSCS Location of Underground Services Monday-Friday
SOLAS APPROVED ORGANISATION FOR:
The aim of our CSCS Site Location of Underground Services Course is to raise the standard of health and safety awareness by giving our ourse participants the knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them to operate the cable detection equipment safely and to avoid most underground services and dangers involves excavation works. This course will also help participants to comply with statutory requirements and In line with the Candidate Pack, participants must present their Safe Pass card to attend.
We do not accept letters, photographs, or images/screenshots as substitutes of the physical card.
To confirm - CSR cards are accepted as an alternative to the Safepass card, subject to the above as outlined by SOLAS.
