This programme is vocational in nature, with knowledge and skills outcomes focusing on preparing people for entry to the workplace in the specific fields of Door and Event security. Emphasis is placed on knowledge of the industry and the law followed by an understanding of best practice procedures and thereafter the application of skills relevant to the practical day to day tasks, including emergency responses.

Welcome to the Event Bar Training Course presented by The Auld Shebeen in association with ECS Safety & Training. This comprehensive course is specially designed for individuals who have never worked behind a bar at an event, concert, or large sporting venue.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, our course will enhance your understanding of event bar operations, improve your customer service skills, and ensure you can contribute effectively to the success of any concert, festival, sporting event, or venue you may work in.
Attendee Requirements
- Must be able to speak English.
- Be minimum 18 years of age.
