ECS Safety & Training is excited to announce the launch of Ireland’s first-ever Women in Civils & Construction course. This 6-week full-time course will begin in June 2023 and is designed specifically for women seeking a career in the construction industry.
On completion of the course, all candidates will receive 17 certifications and over 200 hours of practical machine experience. The construction industry offers a range of benefits including set hours, higher wages, overtime rates for out-of-hours and weekends, and yearly wage increases. Additionally, construction work usually does not require unsociable working hours.
The course will run Monday to Friday from 8 am to 3 pm for 6 weeks, providing participants with the opportunity to learn from industry experts with over 150 years of experience between them and are SOLAS/QQI Approved Trainers. No prior experience is necessary to participate in this program.
ECS Safety & Training is also excited to announce that we will be announcing partners to our program over the next few weeks. These partners will offer candidates work placements so that they can show off their newly learned skills and land their dream job.
All training will be carried out in our state-of-the-art training facilities in Brownsbarn, Dublin.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue a career in the construction industry, and this course is a step towards making that a reality for women. If you’re interested in a career in construction, this course is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your journey. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn from the best and take the first step toward a successful career in construction.
We will be releasing the full course outline over the next few weeks, so stay tuned for more information.
