Attendee Requirements
Participants must bring the following on the day of training:
🟢 Safe Pass Card
🚜 CSCS 360 Excavator Experienced Operator Card
🦺 Appropriate PPE for practical training
❗Participants must have both cards physically with them on the day of training. Digital copies or photographs on phones will not be accepted.
Who Should Attend
✔️ Experienced CSCS 360 Excavator Operators
✔️ Operators who completed their course before 1st May 2026
✔️ Personnel involved in lifting operations on construction sites
Course Content
Participants will cover the following:
✅ Safe lifting procedures
✅ Pre-use inspections and equipment checks
✅ Understanding lifting accessories and attachments
✅ Load weight assessment and lift planning
✅ Communication and signalling methods
✅ Operator responsibilities and legal requirements
✅ Safe operation during lifting activities
✅ Hazard awareness and risk reduction
🕑 Duration: 2 Hours
👨🏫 Instructor Ratio: 8 Participants : 1 Instructor
Assessment
Participants will be assessed through the following methods:
🎥 Watching a training video
📖 Theory assessment (multiple choice questions)
🚜 Practical assessment on the 360 Excavator
📜 ECS will provide certification in line with SOLAS wording and guidelines.
✅ Certification will be issued upon successful completion of the course and assessment.
📌 There will be no expiry date on the certification issued for this training.
